The 2016 Cape Winemakers Guild VIP Tasting took place at the Taj Hotel in Cape Town on Thurs 19th August 2016. Beyers Truter, from Beyerskloof, presented his wines as each winemaker does, but he also gave us a very emotional tribute to Danie Steytler from Kaapzicht and Jan Boland Coetee from Vriesenhof.
