Babylonstoren: Extra Virgin Olive Oil: From Tree to Table

We started processing our own olive oil in 2014. We grow five cultivars that we blend to produce a complex medium style extra virgin olive oil. After harvesting, the olives are tipped onto the plant where they get washed being crushed into a paste. The paste is stirred for oil particles to bind and is then passed through two centrifuges separating oil, water and pomace. The result: delicious, fresh & healthy extra virgin olive oil, enjoyed at its best with fresh bread.
