Warwick Wine Estate
The 2nd Cape Wine Auction 2015 took place yesterday on Valentine's day at Boschendal Estate. This auction's role is to raise money and awareness of the plight of those who have not had the many privileges that many others have. There are many welfare organisations in the South African winelands who do wonderful work from education to foetal alcohol awareness, health care, art, music, sport and other activities - predominantly for children, but also work with the adults workers on the wine farms to uplift, educate and inspire. Many of these organisations will benefit from the money raised by the AfrAsia Cape Wine Auction. This year - the Cape Wine Auction raised just over R10million - 30% up from 2014 - its inaugural year. This is an incredible achievement - well done to all!
