While cutting rootstock for next year’s vines, we are also pulling up grafted vines to bundle and sell to our customer farmers.

The “stokkie’ production process takes time. From May of one year, till August of the next, this is a complex process that requires dedication along every step of the process to ensure the farmers get good quality vines that will produce excellent wines in the future.

At least 50 pairs of hands touch every single “stokkie” along its journey to becoming a great vine. Attached to those hands are people who have lived and worked on the farm for generations, building up skill and experience that is unmatched, and a passion that is undeniable.
