In the realm of our Artisan Collection, where innovation meets artistry, The House of Graham Beck presents a groundbreaking addition to South Africa's Cap Classique landscape. This Pinot Meunier 2022 embodies the creative spirit of our master craftsmen, offering a unique expression of our commitment to excellence.
Crafted from a blend of 70% Robertson and 30% Elgin fruit, this pioneering Cap Classique showcases our dynamic approach. The base wine harmoniously combines fermentations from four distinct vessels: neutral French oak barrels, terracotta amphorae, ceramic pots, and stainless steel tanks, with 25% fermented in each of these four vessels. In a first for South African Pinot Meunier Cap Classique, we employed the Agrafe method for secondary fermentation, using cork instead of the traditional crown cap.
After two years of lees ageing, this limited-edition masterpiece emerges with a captivating profile. Experience an elegant interplay of soft fruit nuances and creamy texture, beautifully balanced by a vibrant acidity. With only 2200 bottles disgorged, this Pinot Meunier stands as a testament to our relentless pursuit of the perfect bubble, inviting the discerning palate to explore new frontiers in Cap Classique excellence.
