Leopard's Leap is travelling the globe and our July stop-over is the French city of Dijon.
Right on theme as well as the French celebrates la fête nationale on 14 July and even here in our own valley, we join the annual festivities with the Franschhoek Bastille Festival on 13 and 14 July.
As the capital of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté région, Dijon is at the heart of the famous Burgundy wine region, it is the inspiration behind our Culinaria Pinot Noir and Pinot Noir Chardonnay, home to two of France’s most iconic dishes and it is responsible for both Dijon mustard and crème de cassis! Dijon gives us plenty of reason to celebrate July!
