Meet Thabo – A long standing employee here at Waterford Estate, starting his tenure in 2008 and later moving into the cellar in 2010.
You can always find Thabo in the breathtaking Cathedral room, as his passion lies with the barrels - without his keen eye and expertise in working with barrels, our red wines wouldn’t show their integrated tannins and matured flavour profiles nor would our Chardonnay reach its full potential.
Thabo’s expertise doesn’t end with barrels, you can find him working in all aspects of the winemaking process.
