At Steenberg we have a legacy of female-driven influence. From the farm’s formidable founder, Catharina Ras, to our current female leadership team.
We have always held true to the provenance of the farm and honoured the legacy Catharina left us as an inspiring and determined woman who was pioneering and imaginative with everything she did.
We believe that courage, perseverance, and determination are traits worth cultivating and celebrating. And that is why this #WomensMonth, we are celebrating the inspiring women around us by listening to their stories, with the hope that we can inspire others too. Today we are sharing the story of Nicky Edwards – Cape Town Branch Manager of @the_clothing_bank.
When we visited The Clothing Bank a few months ago, Nicky took us on a tour of their facility and explained how they run their programme. Her energy and passion were infectious, and we knew we just had to feature her as part of this collection.
