Stellenbosch Triennale: Pieter Colyn - Curator's Exhibition

e speak to Stellenbosch landscape artist Pieter Colyn, whose beautiful forest installation warns against the deforestation of the Congo Basin.

The installation, which is a good 35 or more trees of about 5-6 metres high in a spiral or labyrintine walkway, leads to a quiet, leafy centre where a mirror asks that we look at what is being done to the planet – in this case, the very lung of Africa without which we cannot sustain the planet.
