In April 2019, students, future winemakers, viticulturists and marketers congregated at Wellington Wine's Bovlei Taste Room for an informative and insightful #Rootstock event. Jessica Saurwein (Saurwein Wines), Berene Sauls (Tesselaarsdal Wines), Denzel Swarts (Son of the Soil) and Lucinda Heyns (facilitator) spoke about their journey into the wine industry (from employee to business owner), the lessons learned and how important it is to 'think outside of the box' in today's competitive and ever-changing wine industry.
