Deep red, blackberry and cassis on nose. Black berry flavours with hints of toffee, vanilla and soft tannins. Malolatic fermentation took place in new and second fill American and french medium toast oak barrels and matured for 15 months before bottling. Badsberg Wine Cellar lies in the Rawsonville area at the foot of the well-known Badsberg mountain from which the cellar derives its name. The policy from the beginning was to make wine with very good quality, and the minimum bottled wine that was made in the beginning, was only for the members of the cellar.
