Meerlust is celebrating 50 years of producing incredible wines.
Michael Fridjhon, veteran journalist, judge and wine aficianado gave a wonderful keynote address, contextualising history and the wine industry and the Myburgh family.
Kudos to Hannes Myburg, current custodian and son of Nico Myburgh, who had the vision for Meerlust but sadly died before he could see its great successes.
We were also honoured to have Cellarmasters Giorgio dalla Cia, Chris Williams and Wim Truter at the celebration at the farm on Monday 8th Sept, on the eve of Cape Wine 2025
