On our journey across the globe, Leopard's Leap has decided to spend August in Kyoto.
Once the capital of Japan, this city on the island of Honshu is the place to experience the traditional Japan and its rich history. From authentic wooden shops and restaurants with sliding doors to the Imperial Palace, castles, temples, beautiful gardens and cherry blossom trees!
Kyoto is famous for formal traditions such as kaiseki dining, consisting of multiple courses of precise dishes, but for our culinary inspiration, we've decided to keep it a little more casual and in tune with Leopard's Leap's relaxed attitude as well the rage that is Asian street food.
