On a brisk night in 1983, Graham Beck stood under the night sky in Robertson and had a starry-eyed dream to produce South Africa’s finest bottle-fermented sparkling wine. What started as an evening glance up into the night sky turned into the first vintage produced under the stars in 1991.

This year, we celebrate 40 years as one of the world’s leading Cap Classique producers with our founder’s legacy living on in every bottle we meticulously craft in our pursuit of the perfect bubble.
